This project concerns 3 luxury residences, built on a beautiful hillside of Messinian Mani!
It is a work of unparalleled aesthetics and special architecture, with colors and lines in harmony with the wild but beautiful landscape of Mani, which always takes your breath away!
In this project we had to use materials of special and difficult processing and handling.
The biggest challenge of this project was in the exterior and more specifically the shading structures… These are aerial pergolas, supported on horizontal axes only, with a study by the Architect of the project in a computer program, so that the boards are placed in such a way that it seems that they "follow" the path of the sun and always offer shade!
Their construction was made of Meradi - wood of African origin - painted with exterior water gel colors for resistance to time and weather conditions.
In the same logic and with the same materials, the sunshades of the houses were made, which are foldable and openable, as well as the benches at the end of the veranda offering endless hours of relaxation with a view of the blue sea!
The outdoor area is also decorated with handmade tables in a combination of materials, wood and metal!
In the interior, the kitchens were built in a simple line but also with ergonomics! We used Oak Veneer, painted in walnut color with water gel colors, interior space, combined with metal structures for a minimalistic effect!
The bathrooms in these residences were designed with the logic of "matching" all the furniture... Thus, we used the same materials and techniques, faithfully following the plans given to us!
At the Architect's request and design, we also manufactured some of the furniture that decorates the 3 houses, such as the kitchen tables and the desks in the bedrooms...
Finally, the intermediate doors are handmade, made in our workshop exclusively for the specific project... With a height of 2.85m, 70 points higher than conventional doors, with blinds to ensure proper ventilation of the space, flush with the wall without a window sill with 3D hinges that ensure maximum resistance to time and weight!
