When we were asked to take part in the construction of the EGO All Day Exclusive Bar, we took in mind of three things…. Firstly, its wonderful strategic location in the coastal zone of Kalamata... Secondly, the architectural study that had been done with the signature of a distinguished architect and our partner for years now.... Finally, the initiator of this project and owner, who has been active in the field of catering and tourism for many years.... With these three features, success was assured!!!
So let's take a tour of the city's new summer meeting point!
Right from the entrance you feel the welcoming summer atmosphere in an outdoor space whose main features are wood, natural materials and earthy shades.
The space is divided into 3 levels – the bar, the restaurant and the balcony – interconnected with each other as the baboo reeds that dominate the space have two roles. On the one hand, to join all the layers, on the other hand to shade and protect from weather conditions!
In the area of the bar, the tall trees dominate, which are harmoniously combined with the handmade wooden constructions made of composite timber.
An extension of the bar are the beautiful balconies overlooking the sea, where thanks to the custom made pergolas, one can enjoy their coffee or drink at all hours of the day!
Finally, a discreet luxury prevails in the restaurant area. The partitions made of wooden constructions, always combined with natural materials, and the raised wooden floor give the feeling of a private space that communicates directly with the rest of the store!
The specific project is a collective effort and proof is the many distinctions it had in European architectural competitions. We are very proud that one of these awards is the first place in the ΄΄ Wood Design Awards - Wood, Wooden Products΄΄ category at the ΄΄ Interior Design Awards 2021΄΄.
